In Jewish tradition, the function of the shofar has biblical roots. The shofar is a Jewish instrument most often made from a ram’s horn. Additionally there are options for half-polished and half natural finish. Some of the shofars are darker in color, almost looking like midnight black and others are have are lighter bronze appearance. Some of the shofars have a more faded look to them.
